THE ORIGINAL MINI WEBSITE

The original Mini website became one of the UK’s first genuinely successful brand websites, celebrating the car not just as a design icon but as a platform for self-expression.

​

Built around the insight that people loved customising their Minis, the site let fans design their own versions using an innovative Java-based configurator, experiment with playful features and games, and engage with one of the earliest brand-led online communities. It also supported high-profile partnerships, including the launch of the Paul Smith–designed Mini.
