M&S HOME FURNISHINGS

In 2012, M&S wanted to transform its home furnishings catalogue into a shoppable digital experience without losing the inspiration of print.

With no suitable platform available, we designed and built a bespoke catalogue-to-commerce system that integrated editorial content with live e-commerce. The project exposed significant data and inventory inconsistencies for the first time, requiring new processes to align catalogue content with real-time stock.

The app achieved over 160,000 downloads in its first month, drove significant online sales, delivered a 20% increase in store traffic, reduced print costs, and briefly reached number one in the UK App Store.
