Votre Coach Personnel (VCP) is an award-winning adaptive interview training platform designed to help young adults and jobseekers develop confidence, emotional intelligence and essential soft skills for employment. It combines interactive video, scenario-based learning and privacy-first Emotion AI to personalise interview preparation in real time on standard college and workplace devices.

Built using A-dapt’s Adaptive Media® format, VCP responds to both learner choices and emotional engagement. Learners interact directly with realistic interview scenarios, while the system assesses answer quality, confidence, positivity and attention. Emotion AI runs securely in the browser to provide real-time feedback, helping learners understand how they present themselves and improve their interview performance—similar to practising with a real interviewer.

Originally developed as a UK innovation, VCP was adopted and trialled by the French Government as part of its €15Bn Skills Investment Plan, a national programme designed to improve employability for low-skilled jobseekers, young people and the unemployed. The platform was implemented across 19 colleges and training partners in the Provence-Alpes-Côte d’Azur (PACA) Region, where youth unemployment rates exceed the national average and soft-skills training is difficult to scale. The trials demonstrated strong learner engagement, improved confidence and positive employment outcomes, showing how emotionally intelligent, adaptive video learning can deliver social impact at regional scale.
